Udbhas is a voluntary welfare organization registered with Govt. of West Bengal. Established in 1988 by a few citizens with a mission to educate children hailing from underprivileged and marginal section of the society. Apart from learning school curriculum, education in Udbhas comprises of drama, dance, music, art, painting, handicraft, basic computer knowledge, recitation, extempore lecture, hygiene, physical training, games, educational excursions, quiz, environmental consciousness, moral & discipline in day to day life, and vocational training to improve children’s knowledge and personality. There are currently 60 children at the residential home of Udbhas. Members of Panacea go there and work with these underprivileged childrent to improve their communication skills mainly stressing on Spoken English alongside their overall personality development every Sunday starting September 2017.
